There are three distinct components to the Homeward Programme and these are described below:
Launched in 2005, Homeward HENS is a comprehensive Home Enteral Nutrition Service. Homeward HENS has been specifically designed to provide comprehensive and flexible home support for dietitians and their patients and home delivery of the full range of enteral tube feeds, oral nutritional supplements and feeding equipment and accessories.
The Homeward CARE programme consolidates Nutricia's offering of professional nursing support services, providing unconditional on-going nursing support to patients, families and their carers based in the community. Patients receive maximum commitment and care through Homeward CARE as they make the transition to new enteral feeding regimens, whether they are situated in their own home or in a nursing home.
Homeward Metabolics is Nutricia's home delivery service for the range of SHS metabolic protein supplements designed to make life easier for patients and carers.
Monthly controlled delivery ensures clients always keep enough supplement at hand.
