Karicare Gold Plus from Birth

From birth, this nutritionally complete formula is designed to meet the needs of bottle fed infants. It has a unique formulation, including Nutricia Prebiotics. It supports your child’s digestive and immune systems. It also contains ingredients to aid your child’s eye, brain and nerve development (please note that Karicare Gold Plus is not available in NSW).

Ingredients:
Milk solids (Demineralised whey, Whey, Lactose, Skim milk, Whey protein concentrate), Vegetable oils (contains Soy oil), Galacto-oligosaccharides (from milk, GOS), Glucose syrup solids, Fructo-oligosaccharides (Long chain, FOS), Dried Omega 3 & Omega 6 LCO oils [Arachidonic acid oil, Fish oil (Tuna), Antioxidants (Sodium ascorbate, Ascorbyl palmitate, mixed natural tocopherols)], Soy lecithin, Acidity regulator (Citric acid &/or Calcium hydroxide), Taurine, Choline.

Vitamins:
Vitamins (A, B1, B3, B6, B12, C, D, E, K1), Pantothenic acid, Beta-Carotene, Folic acid, Biotin.

Minerals:
Potassium, Calcium, Sodium, Iron, Magnesium, Zinc, Copper, Iodine, Manganese, Selenium.

Nucleotides:
Cytidine - 5’- monophosphate, Uridine - 5’- monophosphate, Adenosine - 5’- monophosphate, Inosine - 5’- monophosphate, Guanosine - 5’- monophosphate.

Preparation of Karicare Gold Plus* Infant Formula


1. Wash hands before preparing the feed. Sterilise all utensils by boiling or using an approved steriliser.	2. Boil safe drinking water and allow to cool.	3. Measure the required volume of cooled, boiled water into a sterilised feeding bottle. Warm to feeding temperature.


4. Use only the enclosed scoop. Fill the scoop lightly and level off using the built in leveller. Avoid compacting powder.	5. Always add one level scoop of powder for each 50ml of water. Cap the bottle & shake briskly to dissolve the powder.	6. Test temperature on wrist before feeding. Feed immediately. Discard unfinished feeds.
Prepare each bottle separately. For all brands of formula, it is safer to use immediately after they are prepared.

**1 scoop = 7.7g of powder. NOTE: 1 scoop of powder added to 50mL of water yields approximately 56mL of formula.
